  After our first visit we went back the next day. This time we stood at the bar and asked them to shuck the fresh oysters (less than an hour out of the fresh seawater), and give them to us so we could eat them straight away with the seawater still inside the shell. So different! Amazingly good! Could've kept going all day.

  On holiday in Port Lincoln. Took a side trip to Coffin Bay in search of fresh oysters. Found the Pure Coffin Bay Oysters guys hard at work with freshly farmed oysters. They have a small retail "bar" where you can stand and talk to the very friendly, helpful and informative guys as they shuck the oysters and put them in trays for you to take away.

  The guys said they'd never had anyone ask to do this before, but their bar is an ideal setup to just stand there and take the freshly shucked oysters right out of their hands and swallow them, seawater and all. A truly brilliant experience! Thanks guys!

  This is a great place. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The oyster taste fantastic and fresh. Really need to come at least once.
